I'm a needlepointer and a canvas painter, so I design with the stitcher in mind: colors that translate to thread, details sized to your mesh, and a canvas that's a joy to stitch.

Can you work from a photo?
Yes, most custom canvases start with one. Clear, well-lit photos work best, and I'll tell you if a detail won't translate to stitches.
Do you stitch the canvas for me?
No. I design and paint or print the canvas only. Every canvas ships unstitched, ready for you to stitch.
I don't know what mesh or size I need.
That's fine. Tell me what it will become and I'll recommend both. 13 mesh suits pillows and larger pieces; 18 mesh suits ornaments, fobs and fine detail.
What's the difference between hand-painted and printed?
Hand-painted canvases are painted by me, one at a time. Printed canvases are available for orders of 10 or more, a good fit for team gifts, events and shops.
Can I get threads with my canvas?
Yes. I can pick threads to match and send it as a ready-to-stitch kit.
How long does it take?
My goal is about 4 weeks for hand-painted and 8 to 10 weeks for printed, from sketch approval. Timing depends on the design and how many revisions it needs. I'll give you an estimate with your quote.
Can you use a logo, team or school name?
I can work with your own logo. College, team and brand logos usually need permission from the owner, so I'll ask about that before starting. I create original designs and don't copy other designers' canvases.
Can I see the design before you paint it?
Always. You approve the sketch before any painting or printing begins, with two rounds of changes included.
How do I pay?
Hand-painted: the design fee is paid up front. Printed orders of 10 or more: 20% deposit. Shop orders: 50% deposit. The balance is due before shipping.
